This vital role involves delivering personalized support that promotes independence, safety, and well-being within a home environment. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care tailored to each individual's unique requirements. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health through observation of vital signs and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and medical documentation protocols Support clients with specialized needs including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and hospice care Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document care activities and medical records Use medical terminology appropriately when communicating health status or documenting patient information Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, Hoyer lift transfers, and vital signs measurement Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and assist with meal planning and preparation Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Support clients in community outings or appointments as needed while ensuring safety protocols are followed Requirements Proven experience in senior care, home health, assisted living, nursing homes or long-term care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care procedures Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance are preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is highly valued Ability to observe patient conditions carefully and communicate effectively with healthcare teams Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of care activities Strong understanding of dementia, Alzheimer's disease, memory care strategies and hospice needs Physical ability to assist with transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts and perform caregiving tasks safely Excellent organizational skills for managing medical records, medication schedules, and daily routines Join our team as a Live-In Caregiver to provide heartfelt support that enhances quality of life.
