Homemaker Needed in Willimantic, CT.

Hours:

Preferred schedule: 10:00am-1:00pm (Mon. & Wed.) but schedule is flexible and client must be serviced 3 hours twice/week.

Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Homemakers. As a Homemaker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals who require help with daily activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties:

• Assist clients by providing conversation, performing household cleaning duties, and shadowing client in his every-day activities. Provide assistance with mobility and supervision when client wants to perform outdoor recreational activities
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living spaces
• Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
• Engage in meaningful conversation and provide emotional support
• Document client progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations Please note that all candidates must pass a background check before being hired.
