at Springpoint Senior Living, Inc. in Lewes, Delaware, United States Job Description Description The Moorings at Lewes is seeking a Per Diem Residential Companion to join our team! The Moorings at Lewes is a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in Lewes, DE. At Springpoint, our Residential Companion provides companionship and assistance to residents as directed by the Director of Resident Services.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide companionship and emotional support to residents as directed + Be aware of residents' individual needs and act in ways that foster independence and dignity + Engage residents in activities such as reading, writing letters, walks, games, or other one-on-one interactions + Assist residents by reminding, initiating, and supervising activities of daily living as appropriate + Complete light household tasks such as laundry when assigned + Communicate with the supervisor or nursing staff before visiting residents for any special instructions and follow all directives given by nursing or administrative staff + Maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times + Adhere to community policies and procedures, including resident rights, safety protocols, and employee conduct standards + Attend required in-service trainings and staff meetings
Education and Experience:
