Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver de keep in a aivaabke to provide exceptional support and assistance to residents in a community setting. This vital role involves delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence for individuals with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will be energetic, attentive, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' health by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall well-being Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation of living areas and common spaces Support residents with memory care, dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive challenges through engaging activities and attentive supervision Follow care plans meticulously, documenting observations and changes in residents' conditions in compliance with HIPAA regulations Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and prevent injury during mobility assistance Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional training in dementia or Alzheimer's care is a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with resident transfers using appropriate equipment Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, and families Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards for patient privacy Join us in providing compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
