DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL
(Bonita Springs)Changing Lives Group LLC compensation: $220 Daily employment type: contract experience level: mid level job title:
Live In Position Summary:
Provides direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them develop daily living skills, increase independence, and engage meaningfully in their community.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and basic household tasks Support individuals in community participation such as shopping, appointments, and social outings Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate, timely documentation Ensure the safety, health, and overall well-being of each individual
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a Level II background screening Completion of required TRAIN Florida courses prior to start date CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication skills and dependable work ethic Prior experience is a plus, but not required Work Environment Services are provided in client homes and within the community Must be flexible to work evenings and/or weekends as needed
Schedule:
Monday 7:00 AM through Thursday 7:00 AM (live-in/extended shift)
