Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide exceptional in-home and community-based care to individuals with diverse needs. As an HHA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for your clients by delivering personalized support, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring their safety and comfort. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve, fostering independence and dignity every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' health status, recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately Support clients with medication administration following prescribed guidelines while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations Help with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document care activities and medical information precisely Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral management Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices safely and effectively Support hospice or palliative care needs by offering compassionate emotional support and symptom management Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment for clients Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care in home or assisted living settings Skills Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or in hospice care environments Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices for accurate record keeping Ability to perform patient observation diligently and respond promptly to changing health conditions Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for efficient medical documentation CPR certification and training in catheter care are highly desirable Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and a positive attitude Ability to work independently while following care plans precisely in home or community settings Experience with long-term care facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living communities is preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality at all times Join our team if you're passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a supportive environment!
