Job Description
Job Overview As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care for clients with more complex medical needs - supporting their health, safety and comfort in their own homes. You will deliver skilled nursing care while also assisting with daily activities, promoting independence and building meaningful relationships with each client and their family. Responsibilities Deliver skilled nursing care according to each client's individualized care plan Monitor vital signs and promptly report changes in condition to supervisors or physicians Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and hygiene Provide mobility support, safe transfers, and repositioning as needed Offer emotional support, companionship and encourgement to clients and families Maintain clear, timely and accurate documentation of care provided Perform light housekeeping and meal preparartion related to clients needs
