Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring and detail-oriented Med Tech / Resident Caregiver to provide medication administration, personal care, and support to our residents. This role requires a compassionate approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to resident safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Monitor resident health and report changes or concerns to Wellness staff. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided. Promote a safe, clean, and supportive living environment. Engage residents in social and recreational activities.
Qualifications:
Current Florida 6-Hour Medication Technician (Med Tech) and CPR/FA certifications. High school diploma or equivalent. Compassionate, patient, and dependable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law and Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) requirements.
