Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and assistance to individuals of all ages, including children, toddlers, infants, and persons with disabilities. In this vital role, you will foster a safe, nurturing environment while promoting independence and well-being. Responsibilities Provide attentive care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged youth, ensuring their safety and emotional comfort Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and dressing while encouraging independence and self-care skills Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development through teaching and play Support individuals with disabilities by implementing personalized care plans and facilitating participation in activities that enhance their quality of life Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child or client safety and well-being Administer first aid and CPR when necessary to ensure immediate response to emergencies Maintain a clean, organized environment that meets health and safety standards for childcare or caregiving settings Requirements Prior experience working with children across different age groups or individuals with disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in CPR and First Aid from recognized organizations; ongoing training is encouraged Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children and individuals with special needs Ability to follow detailed care plans while demonstrating patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child abuse or neglect Previous experience in daycare settings, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs teaching is advantageous Valid background check clearance required for working with vulnerable populations Join our team to make a positive impact through caring support that nurtures growth, safety, and happiness.
