Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide day-to-day care for residents, including assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), escorting residents to and from meals and activities, and maintaining Providence Living's grooming standards as outlined in the employee handbook, including policies on body piercings and tattoos. Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with ADLs:
Provide care and assistance with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, walking, and feeding. Health Record Maintenance:
Maintain accurate health records and resident charts, documenting any changes in health, incidents, or unusual occurrences. Emergency Response:
Respond promptly to emergencies and follow Providence Living's guidelines for reporting events. Personal Care:
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, maintaining personal hygiene, and mobility (bed, standing, walking). Vital Signs:
Measure and record residents' vital signs (height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration). Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear appropriate PPE throughout the shift as required by CDC and local regulations. Regulatory Compliance:
Adhere to state and federal regulations, including infection control protocols for COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. Training and Certification:
Complete all required training and in-service recertification. Workplace Safety:
Observe all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Other Duties:

Knowledge of ALIS electronic medical charting system. Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED. Two to four years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate. Specialized Training:
HHA (Home Health Aide) Certifications and Licenses:
CPR and First-Aid certified. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong time management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain resident confidentiality. Effective communication with staff, residents, and families. Physical Demands:
The physical demands of the role include: Frequent standing, walking, using hands, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and talking/hearing. Occasional climbing, balancing, and tasting or smelling. Frequent lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. Work Environment:
The role may expose the employee to bloodborne pathogens, COVID-19, and other health risks. The noise level in the environment is typically moderate. Job Types:
