Job Description
Overview As an ALF Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals in our Facility. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and enhancing their quality of life. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to supporting clients with various needs, including those with developmental disabilities and memory care requirements. Duties Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring the health and safety of clients. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Support clients in social activities and encourage engagement to promote mental well-being. Administer first aid when necessary and respond to emergencies in accordance with established protocols. Uphold resident rights by respecting the dignity and privacy of each client. Follow HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Must have reliable mode of transportation. Skills Experience working in a group home setting is preferred. Knowledge of first aid/CPR procedures and ability to administer basic medical assistance. Familiarity with monitoring vital signs and understanding their significance in client care. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. Awareness of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients' needs. Experience in memory care techniques to assist clients with cognitive impairments. Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic environment for clients.
