Private Caregiver

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Caregiver to provide personalized, high-quality care to individuals in their homes or community settings. In this vital role, you will support clients with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional well-being, ensuring they maintain independence and dignity. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Transport to appointments, run errands Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met while accommodating dietary restrictions Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Conduct patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior, reporting concerns promptly Maintain cleanliness of the client's living environment through regular cleaning and organization tasks Follow individualized care plans designed by healthcare professionals to meet each client's unique needs Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, or long-term care environments Knowledge of first aid, CPR certification, and emergency response procedures Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer's and memory care) Ability to work with patients requiring assisted mobility techniques such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfers Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes in condition Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times Capable of heavy lifting and physical endurance necessary for caregiving tasks Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and family members Join our team as a Private Caregiver if you're passionate about providing empathetic support that empowers individuals to live their best lives.
