Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare teams Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, including cooking and meal planning for residents in assisted living or home care settings Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light cleaning duties to promote hygiene and comfort Document care activities meticulously, including patient observations, progress notes, and adherence to care plans Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to foster mental stimulation and emotional well-being Skills Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes with a focus on senior or disability care Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring Certified in CPR and First Aid; familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly valued Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts; physically capable of supporting residents' mobility needs Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and residents Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Experience with medication administration, care plans development, and patient monitoring in various healthcare environments Compassionate attitude combined with patience and adaptability to meet diverse resident needs Join us as a Personal Support/Campion Caregiver if you are passionate about providing high-quality care that enhances the lives of others.
