Belvedere Commons of Fort Walton Beach is seeking Care Aides For our Assisted Living Facility to become a part of our team! Facility is seeking EXPERIENCED and
QUALIFIED
applicants for this position. We are looking for experienced and qualified applicants to build a great team for our assisted living operation, we are looking for long-term loyal employees who will stay and grow with us. We offer all our employees opportunity for growth and are seeking to build solid relationships with all our valued employees to create a teamwork atmosphere that is focused on patient care. Responsibilities and Duties- Medication management and assistance with self administration of medications
- Provide routine individualized care to the elderly, or persons with disabilities
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status
- Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing patients
- Provide specialized healthcare such as assisting with administering medication
- Light housekeeping Qualifications and Skills
- Med-Tech certified a plus but not required
- Must be truly compassionate for patients
- Must be have good work ethic and maximize time to accomplish all tasks
- Must be ready willing and able to assist with any task requested by resident or supervisor
- Must be able to perform housekeeping duties
- Must have flexible schedule
- Experience in hospice, home health, or other related fields
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Must have previous ALF experience
- Must be able to pass background check
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
