Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide essential support in daily living activities for individuals, particularly seniors and those with disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of empathy, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for clients by ensuring their needs are met with care and professionalism. Duties Assist clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met. Monitor and record vital signs as necessary, maintaining accurate health records. Provide personal care and support, including assistance with daily living activities. Assist in administering medication as prescribed, ensuring compliance with health guidelines. Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Implement first aid and CPR techniques when required, ensuring safety at all times. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop care plans tailored to individual needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment within the home or group setting. Qualifications Previous experience in senior care or working in a group home setting is preferred. Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus. Familiarity with basic first aid and CPR certification is required. Experience in social work or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and their families. Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding in all interactions. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation duties.
