Caregiver

The Post-Operative Caregiver is responsible for providing compassionate, non-medical supportive care to clients recovering from cosmetic and elective surgical procedures. The caregiver ensures client safety, comfort, hygiene, and adherence to post-operative instructions while maintaining a luxury, clean, and professional recovery environment. Assist clients with mobility, including walking and repositioning (following surgeon guidelines) Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene Monitor clients for signs of discomfort, swelling, or complications and report concerns immediately Assist with medication reminders (non-administration unless certified and authorized) Support clients with proper use of BBL pillows, compression garments, and recovery equipment Prepare and serve post-op approved meals Encourage hydration and light mobility per recovery plan Monitor dietary restrictions as instructed Maintain clean, sanitized client rooms and common areas Change linens and assist with laundry Ensure infection-control protocols are followed at all times Restock supplies and maintain organized workspace Document daily client observations and care provided Communicate effectively with management, nurses, or surgeons if concerns arise Maintain client confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
