Direct Care Worker (DCW) —

Pay:
$15.00 per hour — 40-hour biweekly pay cycle | 7 working days per 14-day period How the Rotating Schedule Works Two defined shift blocks rotate between two DCWs each pay cycle. Each worker averages 7 days per 14-day period. Schedules are set in advance. Block A (5 days): Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Block B (2 days): Thursday, Friday Overview Unlimited Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Care Worker to support residents with developmental disabilities. You will assist residents with daily living activities, personal care, and community participation, and complete daily service documentation using our internal system each shift. Responsibilities Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, oral care, and morning/evening routines Support residents with activities of daily living and individual goals of service Prepare meals, assist with bed-making, and maintain a clean, safe living environment Complete daily care documentation in the company's internal system each shift Follow each resident's individual support plan and emergency protocols Report any health changes, incidents, or concerns to the supervisor immediately Transport or accompany residents to appointments and community activities as needed Qualifications Must pass Level 2 background screening (per Florida APD standards) High school diploma or GED required Valid Florida driver's license preferred Prior experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain — training provided) Reliable, patient, and professional demeanor Benefits Predictable rotating schedule — every other weekend off, set in advance Consistent 40-hour biweekly pay Paid orientation and on-the-job training Supportive management team About Unlimited Care, Inc.
