Caretaker

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caretaker to provide exceptional support & care. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of client by delivering personalized care that promotes independence and dignity. Responsibilities Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Support individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques Maintain detailed documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to track health status and care activities Assist with meal preparation, feeding, light cleaning, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents or clients Support residents' social engagement by encouraging participation in activities and fostering positive interactions Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely during transfers and mobility assistance Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and support teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Experience with medication administration and vital signs monitoring is essential Background in caregiving roles involving individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities is advantageous Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate record keeping is desirable Long-term care experience or personal experience in home & community-based settings will be considered an asset Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities within community or home care settings is preferred Join us if you're passionate about providing heartfelt support that empowers individuals to live their best lives.
