Private Caregiver

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Caregiver to provide personalized, high-quality care to individuals in their homes or community settings. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support clients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers and heavy lifting tasks Conduct patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior and report findings promptly Maintain cleanliness of the living environment through regular cleaning duties to promote hygiene and safety Follow detailed care plans designed by healthcare professionals to ensure consistent, personalized support Collaborate with healthcare teams, social workers, and family members to coordinate comprehensive care Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, or nursing home environments with a focus on senior or long-term care Strong knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment Certified in CPR and First Aid; familiarity with hospice care and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities preferred Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare providers Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Experience working with individuals with autism or memory-related conditions such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Skilled in meal preparation tailored to specific dietary restrictions or health conditions Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately while maintaining flexibility for changing needs Join us in delivering compassionate caregiving that truly makes a difference!
