Direct Care Staff

Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly Administer medication following prescribed care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards Support residents during meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assist with heavy lifting to ensure safe transfers and mobility Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control protocols Document care activities accurately in resident records and update care plans regularly Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being Follow all safety procedures including CPR and First Aid when necessary Collaborate with nursing staff, social workers, and family members to deliver comprehensive care Skills Proven experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, autism support, and hospice care practices Strong patient observation skills with the ability to monitor vital signs and recognize changes in condition Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's transfer devices Excellent communication skills for working effectively with residents, families, and team members Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude Basic cooking skills for meal preparation aligned with dietary needs Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety standards Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed Join us as a Direct Care Staff member if you are passionate about providing compassionate support that empowers individuals to live their best lives. PM Saturday & Sunday:

Off Schedule repeats bi-weekly. ✅ Major holidays off so caregivers can spend time with family.
