Job Overview Join our dedicated team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate assistance with daily activities, monitor health and safety, and promote independence within the comfort of clients' homes. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a safe, nurturing environment where clients can thrive. This paid position offers an opportunity to utilize your caregiving skills while making a positive impact on the community. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patients' vital signs, observe health status, and report changes to healthcare professionals promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when required Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Support clients with mobility challenges by using proper techniques for heavy lifting and transfer assistance Document care activities accurately and update care plans regularly to reflect evolving needs Skills Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments, including long-term care settings or group homes Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care practices Certification in CPR and First Aid; familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards for patient confidentiality Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other special needs Strong communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, family members, and clients' support networks Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility; experience operating assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Compassionate attitude combined with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple care responsibilities efficiently Join us in providing exceptional home care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being. $14.75 - $16.00 per hour
