Job Description

Direct Care Provider 1292 Braeburn, North Lauderdale, FL 33068 $16 an hour - Full-time $16 an hour - Full-time Hello. We are an agency looking for a direct care provider to work with a 50 year old woman with autism. Monday to Friday 3pm to 8pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm $16 an hour. Assist with activities of daily living and meal prep. Take out in the community with workers personal car. If interested text Gencie to 9543268551 Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and dignity Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols under supervision or as trained Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, utilizing specialized techniques for behavior management and safety Operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers to ensure resident safety during movement Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties including cleaning resident areas and ensuring infection control standards are met Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, dementia care, and behavior management techniques Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional training in Alzheimer's or memory care is a plus Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities of any kind Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members, residents, and families effectively Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities related to resident outings or appointments (if applicable) Experience working with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems for documentation purposes is advantageous Join us in providing compassionate support that empowers residents to live their best lives!
