Live-In Caregiver needed in Oldmar, FL Male, 25 year old, high functioning with extremely independent. He is entitled to Live-In services through APD (adult person with disabilities ) and Pinellas Care Systems, Inc. Our agency provides services for the developmentally disabled. Level 2 background check is a requirement as well as free online APD educational courses. A good working car for transportation is required as well as a valid driver's license, current car registration and car insurance. He enjoys being active in the community. This is 24-hour care but breaks when he goes to work, with friends and family. You absolutely can work another job, go to school or be off during these times. For this particular gentleman, A few tasks the in-home caregivers would include: prompts for Personal care and grooming Transportation to and from for socializing and life enrichment activities Meal planning and preparation (assist client to prepare and shop for well nourished meals). He does his own cooking. Light housekeeping - prompt client to perform most duties effectively Home care agencies work with the client to determine the best arrangement and to create an individual plan of care. The Live-In caregiver will live and stay in our client's home. Our agency pays for the Live-in portion of rent and utilities. The live-in staff is responsible for their own groceries.
