Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Medication Technicians and Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in an assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of patient care, have experience working with diverse populations, and demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. You will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. Duties Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, a toileting and medication assistance . Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety. Asisst residents with medications as prescribed. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation and light housekeeping. Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to healthcare professionals. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship. Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or developmental disabilities. Utilize EMR/EHR systems for maintaining medical records and documentation. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home care, hospice care, or acute care is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs is essential Current Med Tech certification Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Understanding of patient rights and confidentiality practices under HIPAA regulations. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
