Flexible - days, evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays About Us At Samaritan Village, we provide a safe, restorative home for women recovering from sex trafficking. We walk alongside each woman on her journey of healing, recovery, and empowerment — all rooted in Christ's love. The Role As a Direct Care Advocate, you'll be the heart of our safe house — ensuring it's a safe, structured, and supportive environment. You'll work directly with residents, helping with daily routines, leading activities, providing encouragement, and responding calmly in moments of crisis. You'll also help with transportation, appointments, and basic household responsibilities. What You'll Do Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to residents Maintain a safe, structured, and welcoming home Model life skills, healthy boundaries, and positive behavior Support residents in their recovery and goal plans Drive residents to appointments and activities (company vehicle provided) Complete simple daily reports and logs Respond to emergencies and resolve conflicts calmly Work closely with our Program Manager and team You're a Great Fit If You… Are dependable, empathetic, and a strong communicator Can stay calm in challenging situations Have experience in human services, recovery support, or similar care roles Are comfortable working a variety of shifts (including nights/weekends) Have a valid driver's license and pass a background check Perks Make a direct impact in women's lives every day Supportive, mission-driven team Training provided in trauma-informed care and crisis response How to Apply Send your resume to
