  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and health management.
This vital role involves delivering personalized support that promotes independence, safety, and well-being in a comfortable home environment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. This position offers the rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships while ensuring comprehensive patient care. Duties Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health through observation of vital signs and behavioral cues, documenting changes accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems Administer medications following prescribed schedules and medical terminology guidelines, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Support patients with specialized needs such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Operate medical equipment including Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices safely and effectively Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with laundry and light cleaning to maintain a safe living environment Maintain detailed medical documentation, update medical records regularly, and communicate effectively with healthcare providers using EMR systems Qualifications Proven experience in senior care, home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and patient observation techniques Certifications such as First Aid & CPR are required; additional certifications in hospice care or dementia care are a plus Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is highly desirable Ability to operate EHR and EMR systems efficiently while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA standards Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients' families and healthcare teams Physical stamina to perform caregiving duties that involve lifting, transferring patients using Hoyer lifts, and assisting with mobility Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing compassionate, professional live-in care that empowers individuals to live safely and comfortably at home.
