I'm a 37-year-old guy (6'6") with a C5-C6 spinal cord injury, living in Palm Beach Gardens, and I'm looking for a solid, reliable caregiver. I need hands-on help with daily tasks like getting dressed and showering, transfers using a Hoyer lift, meal prep, stretching my legs to maintain range of motion, bowel and bladder care, driving me to doctor's appointments/errands (in my wheelchair accessible van), as well as some light housekeeping to keep things clean. I'm looking for someone who can work a 48-72 hour shift straight or 12 hour daytime shifts, paid hourly around the clock through a nursing agency (covered by my insurance). During your shifts, you'll have your own bedroom/bathroom and roughly 8 hours of sleep at night and breaks throughout the day. Just as important as the care itself, I'm hoping to find someone easygoing who I get along with someone dependable, respectful, and a team player.
