Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Direct Care Staff member, where your compassion and hands-on support will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care, assist with daily activities, and promote independence within a safe and nurturing environment. Whether working in assisted living facilities, memory care units, or community-based settings, your energetic approach will foster a positive atmosphere and enhance quality of life for those you serve. This paid position offers an opportunity to grow professionally while making a lasting impact on residents' well-being. Hiring for all shifts Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols in compliance with healthcare regulations Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist residents during meal times to promote social engagement Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and common spaces Document care activities using electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and communicate effectively with team members about residents' status and progress Requirements Prior experience in nursing homes, assisted living, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or memory impairments is essential Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts as needed Strong interpersonal skills to connect empathetically with residents and collaborate effectively with team members Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual receives respectful, personalized care.
