We are seeking a reliable, caring, and respectful caregiver who is committed to enhancing quality of life through companionship, routine support, and a safe home environment. This role focuses on non-medical care that promotes independence, dignity, and peace of mind for clients and their families.
Schedule:
7 days per week, 5 hours per day (consistent daily assignment) Responsibilities Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their home Prepare simple, nutritious meals and assist with feeding if needed Provide medication reminders in accordance with care plans (no administration) Support clients with dementia or Alzheimer's using patience, redirection, and safety awareness Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean, safe living environment Support safe mobility and transfers with proper equipment when required Observe and report changes in client condition to care coordinators or family members Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respectful communication at all times Qualifications / Experience Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or caregiving preferred Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or memory care clients is a plus Strong understanding of client confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines Compassionate, dependable, and patient personality CPR/BLS certification Pass level 2 background and drug screening Why Join Us Consistent weekly schedule Supportive and mission-driven agency Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in clients' daily lives Professional and respectful work environment
