Duties Provide attentive patient observation to monitor health status and respond promptly to changes or emergencies Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications accurately following medical documentation and protocols while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's and dementia through specialized techniques and compassionate engagement Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and preparation to meet dietary needs Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Support clients in the community by coordinating home & community care activities and ensuring safety during outings or appointments Skills Strong patient observation skills with the ability to recognize changes in health status quickly Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate record-keeping and reporting Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Ability to assist with ADLs using tools like Hoyer lifts safely and effectively HHA First Aide and CPR certification Excellent caregiving skills combined with compassion, patience, and respect for client dignity
