Direct Care Staff

Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Provide medication administration following prescribed protocols and document accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Monitor residents' vital signs and health status regularly to identify changes or concerns promptly Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, employing behavior management techniques to promote comfort and safety Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary plans, ensuring proper hygiene and safety standards are maintained during food handling Maintain a clean and safe environment through routine cleaning duties in resident rooms, common areas, and care equipment Document all care activities thoroughly, communicate effectively with team members, and report any incidents or changes in resident condition promptly Drive residents to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is essential Experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and emergency first aid certification is advantageous Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation purposes is desirable Demonstrated ability to handle personal care tasks with compassion and professionalism Previous caregiving roles involving group home settings or long-term care environments will be considered a strong asset Valid driver's license and safe driving record are preferred for roles involving transportation responsibilities Join us to be part of a compassionate team dedicated to enriching lives through dedicated caregiving.
