Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication administration using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Monitor residents' vital signs regularly and report any changes to healthcare professionals promptly Support residents with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met and dietary restrictions are followed Engage residents in social activities and behavioral management strategies to promote mental well-being and community involvement Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties within the group home setting Drive residents to appointments or community outings safely and responsibly when required Experience Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments preferred Proven background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia/cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's disease and other memory care needs Knowledge of long-term care practices, resident's , and senior care standards essential Hands-on experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and emergency response procedures including first aid certification Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and record keeping is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to perform caregiving tasks such as assisting with ADLs, personal care home duties, and behavior management strategies Valid driver's license for transportation duties and experience driving residents safely is a plus Join us in creating a nurturing environment where compassion meets professionalism.
