Role Overview:
As a Home Caregiver at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized in-home care to our clients. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with clients and their families to ensure their needs are met and to promote a safe, comfortable environment. You will have the flexibility to work part-time, with availability needed across various days of the week.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Manage medication reminders and help with meal preparation. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment. Offer transportation assistance as needed to appointments or outings. Provide respite care for family caregivers when required.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Passion for providing quality in-home caregiving services. Strong interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships with clients. Ability to follow care plans and instructions from health professionals. Dependability and a commitment to upholding the values of service and integrity. Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
Bonus If You:
Have previous caregiving experience or certifications. Possess CPR and First Aid certifications. Have experience working with seniors or veterans.
Employment Type & Availability:
This is a Part-Time position with availability needed Monday through Sunday.
Location:
This position is on-site only, based in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
