  • Sarasota, FL Home Sweet Home Care is a locally owned, family-style agency dedicated to helping older adults and post-rehab clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in the homes they love.
As one of our In-Home Caregivers, you'll be providing conversation, light homemaking, and errand support—strictly hands-off (no personal care, lifting, or medication). We provide service to Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, Englewood, and the surrounding barrier islands. You'll work one-on-one with clients following individualized care plans, backed by a team that values clear communication, flexible scheduling, and room to grow.
Key Responsibilities Friendly companionship:
Chat, read aloud, play cards, watch a show together Light household tasks: Tidy rooms, do dishes, fold laundry, change linens Simple meal help: Heat frozen entrées, warm leftovers, make sandwiches /snacks Errands & appointments: Drive clients or pick up groceries/prescriptions (mileage reimbursed) Home organization: Sort mail, set phone/calendar reminders, note safety issues Visit documentation: Record tasks and observations in our mobile app before leaving each home. Required Qualifications Florida Home Health Aide certificate, or at least 1 year of verifiable hands-on caregiving experience Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days) Valid Florida driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance Ability to pass a Level
II FBI/FDLE
