The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents by promoting independence, dignity, and respect. This role requires a strong understanding of caregiving practices, resident rights, and adherence to health regulations. Duties Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration. Provide direct support in social and recreational activities to encourage engagement and community participation. Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by monitoring their health and behavior. Maintain accurate records of care provided, including documentation of any changes in residents' conditions. Uphold resident rights while fostering a supportive and respectful environment. Implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Assist with lifting and transferring residents as necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used for safety. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality regarding residents' personal health information. Provide first aid as needed and respond appropriately to emergencies. Experience Candidates should possess experience in caregiving or direct support roles.
Preferred qualifications include:
Background in home care or social work. Familiarity with patient care practices and medication administration. Knowledge of resident rights and advocacy. Certification in first aid is advantageous.
