Job Description:

Infinite Heart Support Care Services is seeking a dependable, structured, and active caregiver to provide a combination of Companion and Personal Support services for an adult male client in the Tampa 33619 area. The client is an active adult male who enjoys getting out into the community and experiencing the world around him. He is looking for a caregiver who can provide structure, consistency, encouragement, and respectful guidance while supporting him with daily activities and community involvement. This position would be a great fit for someone with a disciplined, highly structured background such as military, coaching, security, corrections, athletics, behavioral support, direct care, or similar experience. The ideal candidate should be firm but respectful, patient, reliable, and able to follow a routine while also encouraging independence and community engagement.

Responsibilities Include:

Providing Companion and Personal Support services Supporting the client with community outings and recreational activities Encouraging independence, appropriate choices, and positive routines Helping the client stay active and engaged in the community Providing structure, redirection, and consistency as needed Assisting with daily living skills and personal support needs Promoting safety while out in the community Maintaining professional boundaries and respectful communication Documenting services as required by the agency Communicating updates or concerns with the agency in a timely manner

Ideal Candidate:

Has a structured, disciplined, and dependable personality Comfortable working with an active adult male client Able to provide firm but respectful guidance Enjoys community outings and staying active Patient, consistent, and reliable Able to follow schedules, routines, and agency expectations Has experience in caregiving, companion care, behavioral support, coaching, security, military, corrections, or similar structured environments Understands the importance of professionalism, safety, and accountability

Requirements:

Must be dependable and punctual Must have reliable transportation Must be able to work 26 hours per week Must be comfortable providing both Companion and Personal Support services Must be able to pass required background screening Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred APD experience is a plus, but not required if the candidate is the right fit and willing to learn
