Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Technician to join our team. As a Medical Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing direct support and care to individuals. Your responsibilities will include behavior management, dementia care, vital sign monitoring, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and care to individuals.
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors
• Assist with dementia care and support individuals with memory loss
• Monitor vital signs and report any abnormalities to the healthcare team
• Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the living environment
• Follow established protocols and systems for medication administration
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Skills:

• Experience in behavior management techniques
• Knowledge of dementia care practices
• Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility limitations
• Proficiency in monitoring vital signs
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Direct support experience working with people with developmental disabilities
• Competency in meal preparation according to dietary requirements
• Familiarity with medication administration systems
