This vital role offers the opportunity to create meaningful connections while supporting clients in a comfortable, familiar environment. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that each client receives the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health through observation of vital signs and overall condition, promptly reporting any concerns Administer medications accurately following medical instructions and document all care provided in electronic health records (EHR) systems Support clients with specialized needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care through personalized routines and engagement strategies Operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices safely and effectively Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times Requirements Proven experience in senior care, home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and medical documentation procedures Certifications in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and first aid are required; additional certifications such as hospice care or dementia training are a plus Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR systems for accurate record keeping Ability to work independently in a live-in setting while maintaining professional boundaries and providing compassionate support Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in health status Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is highly valued Join our team to make a positive impact on the lives of those you serve!
