Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Assistant to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve by delivering personalized care, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive attitude to every task, helping clients maintain a high quality of life through attentive and respectful caregiving. Duties Remind client following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking as required Support clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care needs through specialized techniques and compassionate engagement Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Document care activities thoroughly in compliance with healthcare standards and assist with updating individual care plans Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and social engagement Work collaboratively within home health or community care teams to ensure comprehensive client support Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care environments preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Hands-on experience with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) preferred Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or hospice care are advantageous Experience operating medical equipment like Hoyer lifts or performing heavy lifting safely is highly valued Familiarity with creating and following personalized care plans aligned with healthcare standards Strong understanding of patient privacy laws (HIPAA) and confidentiality practices in healthcare settings Join us in delivering compassionate, energetic caregiving that transforms lives! Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
