While our heart is dedicated to honoring our nation's veterans, we proudly serve all private pay clients including seniors, adults with disabilities, individuals recovering from surgery, and anyone who needs quality non-medical in-home care throughout the Atlanta metro area. WHO WE SERVE
At HonorVet we proudly provide care to: Veterans and their spouses (our primary focus) Seniors aging gracefully at home Adults with physical disabilities Individuals recovering from surgery or illness Adults with developmental disabilities Family caregivers needing respite relief Any private pay client needing non-medical home care support

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a HonorVet Caregiver you will provide non-medical in-home care including: Personal care — bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene assistance (PCA role) Companionship — conversation, emotional support, social engagement Light housekeeping — laundry, dishes, tidying Meal preparation — cooking nutritious meals based on client preferences Transportation — accompanying clients to appointments and errands Medication reminders (NOT administration) Respite care — providing relief for family caregivers Safety supervision and fall prevention awareness Document daily visit notes and communicate with the office
WHAT YOU WILL NOT DO
HonorVet is strictly a non-medical agency.
You will never:
Administer medications Perform wound care or medical procedures Provide skilled nursing or clinical care
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or GED preferred Valid Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation Must pass a GCHEXS criminal background check (fingerprint based) Must provide a negative TB test (within 12 months) Proof of auto insurance if transporting clients Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Must be authorized to work in the United States Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor Excellent communication and listening skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
(Not Required) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification CPR and First Aid certification Previous experience with veterans, seniors, or adults with disabilities Bilingual abilities (English and Spanish or other languages) Background working with military families or veterans Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods Ability to assist clients with mobility and transfers Ability to drive to client homes throughout Atlanta metro
