Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering attentive, respectful, and professional care tailored to their unique needs. This position is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive on making a positive difference in people's lives through active caregiving and empathetic support. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing symptoms, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring proper meal planning and safety standards Administer medications accurately according to care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Support patients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's through memory care techniques and structured routines Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment in accordance with health standards Document care activities meticulously, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care Qualifications Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments; group home experience is a plus Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid; additional training in dementia or Alzheimer's care is preferred Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs Prior experience working in nursing homes or hospice settings is advantageous but not required Join us in delivering heartfelt caregiving that truly makes a difference! Pay:
$16.50 - $18.00 per hour
