Youth Support Specialist

Job Summary We are an all boys group home seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Staff to provide essential support and care. The ideal candidate will assist residents in our home/facility with their daily activities and needs.

This role requires a strong commitment to helping our residents become successful young men by helping them with schooling, community activities, and various other opportunities. Responsibilities Assist residents, ages 10-18 with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration and other assigned duties. Monitor the safety and well being of our residents, by keeping a watchful oversight throughout your work shift. Assist with transportation to appointments and community activities, promoting social engagement. Maintain a clean and safe environment for our residents by adhering to all health and safety regulations and follow policies and procedures of Secure and Care. ExperIence While previous experience in this role is nice, however it is

NOT REQUIRED.

Familiarity background and experience with working with troubled youth maybe considered an asset. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers are crucial for success in this role.
