Overview Job Overview - Direct Support Care (Youth Group Home) Universal of Love Care LLC is seeking dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Care staff to provide supervision and daily support to up to six youth in a residential group home setting. Staff will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment while assisting youth with daily living activities, behavior management, and personal development. The ideal candidate is dependable, attentive, and committed to providing quality care in alignment with Georgia Residential Child Care Licensing (RCCL) standards. Direct Support Care staff are responsible for active supervision at all times, ensuring the safety, well-being, and stability of all youth in the home. Must be at least 21 years of age High school diploma or GED required Experience working with youth in a residential, group home, or similar setting preferred Ability to pass criminal background check and fingerprinting through Georgia DHS Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if transporting youth) Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification Ability to complete all required RCCL pre-service and ongoing training Strong understanding of supervision, safety, and behavior management Ability to remain awake, alert, and actively supervising youth for the entire shift Good written and verbal communication skills (documentation required) Ability to follow policies, procedures, and RCCL guidelines Physically able to stand, walk, and respond quickly in emergency situations Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and appropriate boundaries This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to the needs of youth in a residential setting.
