This role is responsible for providing a nurturing yet structured environment while ensuring the constant supervision and safety of all residents. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise residents at all times to ensure safety and well-being
• Provide direction and assistance with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, household chores, and laundry. If residents don't comply, it is the workers' responsibility to complete.
• Maintain accurate and timely daily documentation, including resident behavior, mood, and presenting issues in Resident Shift Notes.
• Complete incident reports as required
• Maintain and update point charts for behavior management and monitor and enforce behavior management protocols
• Administer medications and accurately document all disbursements
• Assist with resident intakes and discharges in coordination with HSP
• Utilize crisis management and de-escalation techniques to address potential conflicts
• Lead house meetings with residents to teach communication skills and resolve conflicts
• Plan engaging activities inside and outside of home for residents
• Provide transportation and supervision for resident outings
• Maintain regular communication with leadership staff
• Follow all guidelines outlined in the Karing Hands Policy and Procedures Manual
• Conduct regular room and resident searches to ensure safety
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Model positive and professional behavior at all times
• Complete additional duties as assigned
