Personal Care Support Personnel /Pediatric/Home Health

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Support Professional to provide essential support and care to children with disabilities or special needs. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being. This position requires a strong commitment to caregiving, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively with both clients and their families. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Provide meal preparation and nutritional support tailored to individual dietary needs. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy at all times. Monitor client health and behavior, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall well-being of clients. Experience Previous experience in home care or caregiving is strongly preferred Familiarity with working with children or teenagers with disabilities. Certification in CPR or First Aid is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
