As a Personal Assistant Caregiver, you will be a vital part of creating a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment, ensuring each individual's unique needs are met with professionalism and kindness. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and document patient health status by observing vital signs, behavior, and overall condition Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs safely during transfers and mobility support Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Support clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia through memory care techniques and engaging activities Follow prescribed care plans developed by healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and quality patient care Respond promptly to emergencies using CPR or first aid skills when necessary, ensuring safety at all times Collaborate with healthcare teams, social workers, or family members to coordinate comprehensive care strategies Qualifications Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings preferred Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely using proper techniques or assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Compassionate attitude combined with patience and resilience in challenging situations Valid driver's license may be preferred for client transportation responsibilities Join us as a Personal Assistant Caregiver to provide heartfelt support that empowers individuals to live comfortably and confidently.
