Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will work closely with clients who may have disabilities or require assistance with daily living activities. Your commitment to patient care and respect for resident rights will make a significant difference in their lives. Responsibilities Monitor patients' health and well-being, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals. Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment within the home, adhering to hygiene standards. Assist with memory care techniques for clients experiencing cognitive challenges. Uphold resident rights by ensuring privacy and confidentiality at all times. Lift and transfer clients safely when necessary, using proper techniques to prevent injury. Requirements Previous experience in patient care or home community care is preferred. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and memory care practices is a plus. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and understand their unique needs. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients. A commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety within the home environment. Understanding of social work principles as they relate to caregiving is beneficial.
