Weekend In Home Caregiver

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, ensuring that clients receive the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed Administer medications accurately according to care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients with memory care, dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive challenges through engaging activities and supervision Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and prevent injury during heavy lifting or mobility assistance Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or disabilities is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using appropriate techniques and equipment Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and dignified care Join our team as an In Home Caregiver and become a vital part of improving lives through dedicated caregiving. Pay:
