Job Description

Job Overview Join our compassionate care team as a Flexible Hours Caregiver, dedicated to providing exceptional support and comfort to individuals in need of personalized care. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through attentive, respectful, and professional caregiving. With flexible hours from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, you can balance your work with your personal commitments while delivering vital assistance in home and community settings. We are seeking energetic, caring individuals who are eager to bring warmth and professionalism to every interaction. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient observations and report changes in condition promptly and accurately Support clients with medication administration, vital signs measurement, and basic medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Provide companionship and emotional support, especially for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe environment Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or catheter care tools safely and effectively Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times Skills Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques and dementia or memory care practices Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation systems (EMR/EHR) Ability to assist with complex care needs such as hospice support, catheter care, or hospice care procedures Proficiency in working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized attention Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Certification in CPR and first aid is preferred; experience with long-term care or home & community care is highly valued We are committed to empowering our caregivers through ongoing training and a supportive work environment.
