The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients through attentive caregiving, patient observation, and respectful companionship. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those receiving hospice or memory care. The Personal Care Aide will work closely with healthcare teams to deliver personalized care in our client home. We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one care for an elderly male hospice client in the Roberta area.

Schedule:

9:00 AM - 1:00 PM 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM 7 days per week Multiple caregivers may be considered to cover all shifts

Responsibilities:

Assist with transfers and mobility (Hoyer lift available) Provide incontinence care Assist with repositioning and personal care Offer companionship and emotional support Observe and report changes in condition Maintain a safe and respectful environment

Client Information:

Verbal and able to communicate needs Non-ambulatory and requires total assistance with mobility Diagnoses include Parkinson's disease, dementia, arthritis, and muscle weakness Experiences fatigue, limited mobility, and bowel/bladder incontinence Enjoys watching television Cat in the home

Qualifications:

Home care experience preferred Hoyer lift experience preferred Reliable, professional, and compassionate Strong communication skills Ability to maintain client dignity and confidentiality
